He had good and bad influences in his life beginning with his father who was never there for him and would give him bad examples and yet he had people like the Widow Douglas and Miss Watson who only wanted what was best for him. He also had Jim who would be his friend but also the big brother at the same time. Then comes Tom Sawyer who Huck looked up to so much. The best example in where Huck had debated on what he knew was the right thing to do but decided friendship and loyalty was the main one was when Jim was sold away by the dauphin and Huck was debating if he should write a letter to Miss Watson and tell her where Jim was.
