The Maya

Location- Mexico, Belize and Guatemala-Emma

Food- Corn, Porridge, Pumpkin/squash, chilli peppers, anything corn, honey and chocolate-Emma

Homes- The maya people lived in grass huts, and the was were made from mud a stone. The Maya people would also decorate their homes with statues/ sculptures. Only the leader huts would have stairs. It was very uncommon for a average mayan family to have stairs.-Emma

Clothing- Jewelry such as beautiful head pieces(on special occasions) loincloths, children mostly naked, cloaks most articles of clothes died with vegetables-Emma

Religion- The Mayan people believed that when the praised a god it would bring good fortune. Their gods were called ¨Tepeu, and Gucumatz¨.Tepeu was the god that they believed
