The issue with using military force is that it also takes the lives of some innocent people. In Benjamin Valentino’s reading there were 18 soldiers in the US who passed away in 1993 in Somalia in the “Black Hawk” incident. The United states and United Nation troops killed about 500 Somalian’s and about 1500 during the mission. Half of those people were vulnerable woman and children. Military interventions make the costs of abuses from human rights higher for the ones that commit the act. If criminals wrongly accuse victims for difficulties and suffering caused by the intervention, retaliating against groups of victims and encouragement for the retaliation may increase. Interventions from the military can make persons getting harmed from being regarded as being trouble being looked as a traitor or backstabbing enemy. The enemy could have the ability to demand revenge, take hold of power and get away from the state. Most assignments in humanitarianism depend on air military strength to keep away from fatalities.
