The first one I noticed was the Behavioral Perspective; it focuses on how a person's environment and experiences are affecting them. If someone is dealing with anger or depression, one with this opinion might ask what is currently going on in their life, or about their past, to find the issue. Maybe the person dealing with anger is being hurt or feels helpless in a situation and doesn’t have a way to channel that frustration. A Psychologist could use the behavioral perspective to find a way to help them better their current situation. The same could be said about the person with depression. They could currently be going through a point in their life where they feel hopeless or lonely.
The second one I looked at was the Neuroscience/ Biological Perspective and how Psychologists use it to help patients. In the second video, "Diverse Perspectives" the lady mentions how a girl's eating problem could be because of our media. It's important to understand how much our community and culture can impact us, both in positive and negative ways. Someone who is surrounded by people who are encouraging and tell them to pursue their goals may have a better outcome than someone who is surrounded by negativity. Media can also have a huge impact on our mental and social health. People who spend more time on their phone may struggle with slight to extreme depression and or social
