As Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “ If you can’t be the pine on the top of the hill, be a shrub in a valley. But be the best little shrub on the hill.” This means that you should always be the best person you can be your height, size, shape, or race isn’t what really matters. There are many parts to someone so they shouldn’t focus on the exterior but just be the best of whatever they have to offer. Martin Luther King Jr. had four principles that might help you be the best you. The first principle is that there should be a deep belief in yourself and your dignity, which is your worth and somebodiness. You shouldn’t let anyone bring you down because you should feel that you have worth and your life has a significance to you and others
