Rape under any circumstance is wrong and should not be justified. The four myths that try to explain the cause of rape are wrong a well. The first myth says that rapes have an uncontrollable impulses or urges that cause them to act out. I believe that to be a cop out and a lame excuse. We all have argues that cause us to out but we have to learn to control them and take responsibility. To be quite honest that type of reasoning would not work with any other criminal. For example, if I told people the reason that I stole was because I could help the urge to no one would let me off the hook with that type of reasoning. We need to make rapists take responsibility for their actions.
