The trial in a lot of people’s opinions got out of hand because of publicity. The public had a huge role in the determination of what happened in the courtroom. At one point, they even demanded a piece of evidence be made public, and they got their wish. The justice system had many flaws during the O.J. case, a major one being racism. One witness, detective Mark Furhman was a big part of racism in the O.J. case. Racism in not only the O.J. prosecution, but in the LAPD was a big part of the defense’s case. The court tried too hard to make everyone happy, and in doing so they caused many of the jurors to look track of the evidence and base everything off emotion. In the case of O.J.
