The amount of teen driving accidents are rising. 60% of teen car crashes are due to distractions. Teen driving is a problem that can lead to car crashes and fatal events. Distractions can be one of the main reasons of teen driving accidents. Texting and driving is the main one. 1.6 million crashes are caused by texting and driving each year. Texting and driving is 6 times as likely to cause fatal events than drinking and driving. 94% of teens recognize the dangers of texting and driving. 35% text and drive anyway knowing the dangers. 21% of teens have resulted in fatal accidents due to texting and driving. It is said that 11 teens die each day by texting
