Wilber opened his eyes and found himself sleeping in his bed. He felt somewhat disorientated from an odd dream. Around the farm while Wilber worked, he often heard tales of days when all of the animals ate plenty of food and everyone worked happily, but nobody believed that they were true. Being a young piglet, Wilber also believed that life had always been like it was. In Wilber’s dream however the days of contentment became a reality. The animals all lived in harmony and blithe. While rolling out of his bed, Wilber gazed out of the window of the house. He witnessed the pigs walking around on their hind legs, whips in hand. The other animals toiled in the fields looking starved and ravenous. Living in my dream is so much nicer, he thought.
