In source 1 you see 4 kids who are working in a factory and as you can tell there at a very young age, this is called child labor. Child labor was a big thing at the start of the industrial revolution in 1760. The children that were working when they were really young like 4 or 5, They also got payed very little for how much they worked, pressure of globalization led to trafficking and forced labor.

In source 2 we see lots of pollution, this was one of the downfalls of Industrial Revolution, The use of machinery and factories led to mass production, which led to the development of numerous environmental hazards. These environmental hazards led to lots of diseases and the young kids that were working in these factories dying, there were no pollution laws to stop this from happening so a lot of people died because of it.
