According to ezie1234 a writer of an essay on the website Student Mode, the pressure on students is tremendous, and it is a lot of pressure to receive good grades, being involved and work to worry about and working hard in school is a lot of pressure to get scholarships to get into a good college (p 3). I believe that is very true as well, in high school I was involved in a lot of things and sometimes I would feel overwhelmed by everything I had to do and still be successful. When students get into good college, they need scholarships and loans to pay for college which a lot of stress on a student to deal with. All colleges are looking for good ACT and SAT scores, good grades, activity involvement, volunteer work and more. All throughout high school, I did all of those things so that way I could have good things to show colleges that I was interested in. I know it’s a lot to think about and do before college starts up. When accepted the real pressure is on for students because they have to think about what major they want and the job they want after they graduate. How a lot of students handle this stress is by doing a number of factors. Some students handle this pressure by being organized and having a set schedule so that way they know what they need to do at this time and how much time they will set aside for this activity. Another way student handle the pressures of school, parents, and the future is by having a good balance of everything in your life. By having a balance in a student’s life they can be social and do things for school during the week. It will help not feeling overwhelmed and break down under the pressure.
