What Are The Arguments Against Gun Control

For Gun Control Are you for gun control or against? This has been such a controversial question for many years. Should people be allowed to own guns? Both sides have their reasons as to why they believe it's right or wrong. In the article Gun control and the Second Amendment Joshua Horwitz states, “A number of studies have demonstrated that gun ownership makes an individual and his loved ones far more likely to be victims of gun-related homicides, suicides and accidental deaths. The data also show that states with comprehensive firearms regulations have consistently lower rates of gun death.” The need for more thorough background checks should be taken under major consideration, because now in days it's easy buy a gun online or get one from a gun show. We need to set limits because by being so careless we are asking for an accident to happen. Not just anyone should have the right to own a gun. That's just plain fact. So why let someone who is mentally unstable hold a gun? Why let someone other than a government official sell guns? This should definitely be considered because it's becoming fairly easy to obtain licenses to sell guns.

There’s consequences no matter what side you choose to be on. Pro-gun control has its cons as does Anti-gun control. The brutal truth is that without, control, stability, rules that need to be strongly reinforced, we’re no better than those men/woman causing the crimes. You’re basically handing the gun to them anyways. Guns should be allowed, but we need to understand that there needs to be some security on who owns them by having more thorough background checks, reinforce who sells guns, and control the types of guns that people are allowed to
