Jacqueline Saburido was a beautiful young girl who was at a party one night and wasn't drinking at all, but that same night Reggie Stephey went to his friends after work for some drinks. He had too many that night and decided to drive home. He hit the car that Jacqueline was in and killed her two friends and burned her face almost completly off and almost killed her. Drunk driving is a serious problem; to stop it there needs to be a heavier enforcment of the laws. The drinking age could be raised so we can stop losing innocent lives.

Families are still losing loved ones over bad choices that can be stopped. Since 2006, the year Mothers Against Drunk Driving started, the death total has went down 24%(MADD- Drunk Driving). The death total is still too high, losing over 10,000 people in one year is outrageous. The law of the Blood Alcohol Concentration is way too high and needs to be lowered and we need to add a bigger fine for the people who are drinking and driving.
