Imagine this. Your entire life is spent living in a small, confined space that isn’t big enough for you to do anything you enjoy. Exploring? Traveling? No. You are stuck in an odd place often alone, or with other strangers you don’t know, instead of being with your family. Hundreds of loud, obnoxious people crowd around you and stare. Feeling tense and scared, asking yourself what you did wrong. Wondering why they took you away from your family. Who would want to feel that way? Nobody. But that’s what life is like for most animals in zoos. Put yourself in those positions. Although it may be fun for all ages to visit the zoo, most of them do not know the truth about zoos. Banning zoo captivity is necessary because zoos cause animals to be placed
