Going clothing shopping is something every human has to do at some point in their life, whether they want to or not. Throughout the years, shopping has changed. It used to be only one retail store in a town, occasionally, in a bigger town, there may have been two. Even then people were lucky to have that. As years have gone by, shopping has changed drastically. As families no longer made clothing at home, and demands for pre made clothing increased, cities had many different stores offering many different styles. In today’s market there are two main ways to shop, each with their own pros and cons. Many retailers offer both a walk in store and online shopping. Many times, they can be very misleading. You also don’t have the opportunity to talk to people while walking through a store. You could have people come over for an online shopping party, however, socialization is not as good at home when you’re just looking at a computer screen to peruse through endless pages online. Shopping in a store involves having to get ready by showering, putting on nice clothing, and putting makeup on. It is almost guaranteed that when you don’t look like you want to, you will meet up with someone you either haven seen in a while or your hair dresser. Also, stores have a limited supply of clothing at a time, therefore, stores can run out of clothing the size you need. During holiday seasons, there are a lot of people and it seems to get crowded, fast. If the store doesn’t have the right pieces of clothing in the right size, you either have to find something else or if they can get it, they may have to ship it and it may cost more.
There are many reasons why we need both, in store and online shopping. One may be preferred because of the person’s situation such as transportation, mobility, and unique body shapes. Whichever way you shop, you’re sure to find what you are looking
