Teen Dropout Rates We all know that when it comes to our education, it should mean a lot to us and that it should be one of our main priorities. For example I set my standards high in school so I can work for a better future for not only myself but for my family as well. It seems that the rates seem to get higher as soon as students reach the high school or college level. Every year in high school alone in the United States, 1.2 Million students drop out. At least 25% of incoming freshman fail to graduate on time. The dropout rate tends to be different between every race that attends school.
