Through my expected experiences at Cal Baptist University, I hope to grow and mature into an experienced, well-rounded person. Cal Baptist offers many different aspects on campus that allow students to reach their full potential. The main reason I am applying to CBU is for its positive atmosphere, future opportunities, and its education. Living currently in Ontario, moving away will force me to quickly take responsibility for myself and my own actions.…
Over 86% of the students in Dallas ISD are economically disadvantaged, over 90% minorities. It is imperative that educators are able to understand student’s needs and effectively work with our student demographic. Often, many are focused on students’ academics but are not taking into account home life, things they have seen, or their daily stressors. For that reason, I became a counselor, to be someone students can talk to in their time of need; to hone in on those social and emotional aspects which will assist in improving their academics.…
I have always wanted to enter the medical field so that I could help people, and I believe that is my calling on how I will make a difference in society. At whatever school I end up at, I plan to make a difference in that community as I have my own through my involvement within local philanthropies. In Prosper, I am part of National Charity League, a mother daughter philanthropic organization that gives back to our community. I volunteered regularly at ManeGait and Cornerstone two local charities located in the city of Prosper. I will connect with people who have the same drive and passion as I do, while still staying involved within my community.…
I want to spend my career providing care for underserved communities. The time I have spent with the Native Americans of the Gila River Indian Community has been the most professionally rewarding of my life. I enjoy their culture, their sense of community and their sincere gratitude. It is a incredible feeling to know I am working with people who really need my help in a place where I can make a real difference. I want to attend ATSU.…
Helping others has always been a strong passion of mine. In my time, I hope to be able to reach out to as many people as I can and serve them in any way that I can. While attending Oklahoma City University, I plan to study Religion / Youth Ministry so that I may acquire the tools necessary to help youth grow in their everyday lives as well as their faith. After college, I plan to join the Peace Corps and spend time volunteering in a developing country to better the living conditions and education of those less fortunate. Currently, I enjoy teaching middle school aged kids on Sunday mornings as well as volunteering with the other youth and children's programs at my church to obtain a head start on reaching my goals of helping others.…

I also will apply for this major to have an education to fall back on and…
It was interesting to see how departments and positions at Bethune-Cookman University were broken down. After going over the different departments, I would mostly be interested in positions under the Student Affairs or Student Services. I am currently working at NU as an Admissions Advisor, but I also do Academic Advising. I have realized that Academic Advising is my true passion. I enjoy guiding and advising students towards their goal of completing their degree and pursuing a career.…

Keeping my three personal and professional goals realistic, I would have to say a personal goal is to finish school at SNHU with a 3.0 GPA or above. I think a way for me to accomplish this goal is to stay focused on the tasks at hand, maintain a good relationship with my advisors and to utilize some of the tutoring options that are available to me as a student. Another personal goal is to work on myself, mentally. I cannot be a good mom or wife when I have the stress, anxiety and depression that I do. A way to help accomplish this goal is to not only start speaking with a psychiatrist (first appointment is August 4th) but to also have my thyroid checked.…
Sometime after college, I hope to travel abroad and work with humanitarian organizations and bring doctors and nurses and educators to underserved populations around the world. I have been blessed with a good life, and I hope to use my education and experiences so that others may have blessed lives as…

My Academic and Professional goals As I was in high school, I always dreamt of my life in college. Being in college is a magical experience. The college transforms you into a different person. I see myself as a successful software engineer, and learning new skills that will benefit the company and help me achieve my career goals. Besides, getting a good job, I want to create a non-profit organization, which will help the new generation students to learn something with passion and dedication. Many students like me do not have enough money to get higher education in college they wanted too. They are so many students who hold a part-time job, and studying hard to do their best in college. I want to become a scholarship donor in future as well.…
Though these issues seem overwhelming, I always believed that if I stay faithful and work towards my goals, that I would make a difference. I was raised to believe education is the only way to fight poverty and achieve my dreams. After high school, I continued a college education with Marketing Management with the hope to become my own boss and leader. Furthermore, the two things I would love to achieve as my career goal is, Public Relations and a charity work. These two businesses work hand in hand.…
