Paul David Hewson was born the Rotunda Hospital in Dublin, Ireland on May 10th 1960. Her mother was Iris Rankin and his father Brendan Robert; Bono was raised with his brother that was eight years older than him in a Roman Catholic family. When he was 14 years old, he suffered the loss of his mother because of a brain malfunction.
