The Outer Banks comprise a series of islands found off the coast of North Carolina and Virginia that are highly popular destinations, especially when the temperature gets warmer. These islands span 200 miles in length and feature a near-tropical climate during much of the year. Visitors come here for a taste of the serene beach life, and to partake in some quality fishing.
