Ogden Nash was one of the most popular writers. He was born in Rye, New York, on August 19, 1902. He came from a distinguished family. He was not poor or rich. When he was growing up he went to Harvard college. He died in 1971.
One of his accomplishments was going to Harvard college. He was elected to the national institute of art and letters in 1950. He specialized in light verse. He published two collections of poetry for children. His first published poem was in 1930. He wrote this 1943 Broadway hit. His first collection of poems were published in 1931.
