My third quarter reading goal was to read 2 poetic novels. I met my goal by trying my best to read at least 50 pages each week. The two books I read were Out of the Dust by Karen Hesse and I Promised I Would Tell by Sonia Schreiber Weitz. While completing this reading goal I had to change the amount of time I spend reading each week. I on average read around an hour per week, but this reading goal help me have more of a reason to read then just reading for fun. I usually get distracted when I am reading because I have my phone right next to me and Netflix open on my computer.
