College, that’s all everyone seems to be talking about right now. Where they are going, what they want to study, and how they are going to get started. We are all trying to prepare ourselves for this next big step in our lives. Attending college is something that can have a huge impact on someone’s life. Having a college education can lead to many job opportunities in a person’s career choice. People that have gone to college and earned a degree will be more likely to earn a job. For me, college will not only allow me to expand my knowledge but will give me the chance to live on my own.

My FFA chapter goes out to the sides of the highway and we clean up all of the trash that has been thrown into the ditches. Doing this helps show the public that we care about keeping our town clean and presentable. Being a part of O’Neill NE all of my life and participating in many of the events reminds me of how lucky I am to have a community like mine.

Playing softball is something that I have always loved to do, but playing with asthma has been a challenge for me. When I played I would push myself as hard as I could go but when I got to the point where I couldn’t breathe, I would have to stop and catch my breath which became very frustrating at times when I would I would need to be at my strongest point. After dealing with my asthma I have learned how to pace myself.

When working to achieve something, I believe it has to be worked for and earned. One thing that I worked really hard for was earning a spot in the National FFA Band. In order for me to earn this spot, I had to pick out music to use to audition and find out what scale of notes I would have to play. After I got all of my information I had to practice my French horn music every day for an hour. I practiced until I had music and scales perfect. When I finally recorded my audition and pushed the send button I was confident that I would earn a
