There are many misconceptions about the music industry, that the artist receives all royalties and they make millions off these royalties. Many individuals believe that it is companies such as Spotify and Pandora are the reason that no body pays for music anymore or that more friends on social media they have will allow them to be discovered quicker and earn them more money. I have always wondered about how artist and record companies get paid and now I have all the answers, and you do too.
