What Are Ludacris's Accomplishments

Ludacris Ludacris was born September 11th 1977 in Champaign, Illinois but when he was only eight years old he moved to Chicago. His real name was Christopher Bridges and when he was twelve he joined a Chicago gang. Ludacris did go to school he went to Emerson middle school, oak park high school, river forest high school, Georgia state university. His parents’ names were Roberta Shields and Wayne Brian Bridges who died from diabetes. Ludacris had a interesting life and many accomplishment’s. Growing up he was the only child and his parents really showed there support of his passion to rap his dad even helped him make beats. He didn’t always have it easy though there were some points that he wanted to give up and leave the career behind. It was hard for him to get noticed he was southern and no one even noticed people from the south back then musical wise. Not only did he have some problems musical wise he had problems with ex’s in his life he had to fight in court for his children. After all those problems he made it through them all and kept thriving for more. Southern rappers would have never been around if not for Ludacris he opened the world to something new. He was in a hip hop group when he was younger that never got popular but it did help his raping better they were called Loudmouth Hooligans. The style of hip hop that he used was dirty south raping and for some reason def jam loved his style so the signed him in 2000. In 2001 he acts in his first film called the wash and the same year he establishes the Ludacris foundation and receives his first Grammy nomination.
