“In the late 1861’s, Lincoln had worked out a plan for the Emancipation Proclamation”(And). Really the document didn’t free any slaves. He proposed this document to the U.S Congress that they should set aside money for buying, and Lincoln persuaded congress to end slavery. “This document was for the Confederate States to give up their slaves”(And). Lincoln made this document was to free slaves,but the document failed to free slaves.
Save The Nation Saving the Nation was one of Lincoln’s best accomplishments. Lincoln saved the Nation from being two Independent countries by ending the Civil War, and joining the two nations back into one independent country. This was one of his best accomplishments when he president.
Freedom of Slaves I say that this Lincoln’s best accomplishment of all. After the war had ended, Lincoln made a law to freedom of slaves. Now that the slaves were free, that means that people can’t have slaves anymore. The slaves were no longer a property of white people anymore. This is really the best accomplishments.
