As discussed by Hart-Well Walker (2016) the children who came of age in the 60’s and 70’s were also recipients of disdain, were also often looked at has degenerates for the lack of manors, use of drugs and the unwillingness to follow in their parents footstep. Nonetheless, this particular group also contributed to civil rights, the protest against war and the current use of technology. As discussed by Italie (2016) what would have been seen as rude and disrespectful is now consequently seen as normal behavior. The children are now seen as speaking vulgar when having a conversation with their parents.
I have found it difficult in finding an article that highlighted the contributions of the kids of today. The articles moreover, framed the negative notions and attitudes that kids may share without highlighting the connection the parents may have when contributing to these negatives
