he accomplishments of Henry Ford Henry Ford invented one of the most important part of most peoples lives. Ford was known for his production of the motor vehicles which is now widely produced in the United States, but what he really did was change and encourage the technology in the United States for the rest of his life. His invention of the assembly line, 5 dollar wage, and 5 day work week has changed how jobs are run and managed in the present age. Henry Ford changed the world in industry, the entrepreneur ship, and mass production His desire to build automobiles grew the industry very rapidly. Ford was an engineer who started working on gasoline engines in a small shack behind his house. Ford work on the farm with his family in a small town outside of Detroit. Henry never really liked the work on the farm, but knew that he had to be there to support his family. When his mother passed away Henry quickly left the house and began looking for work that entertained him and let him deal with the things he loved. The Ford company was not just building automobiles, but was building them for the rich. This was a genius plan in production because he wanted his workers to be able to drive the vehicles that he was building. This all worked out because Ford was one of the first companies to develop the pay wage, which began at five dollars per hour. Ford also started the five day work week that had never been heard of. As the company grew on ford had changed the way that companies produced things. This work schedule helped his company produce more and make them more money. This money was then worked back into the company which paid the employees their wages. Ford was the first to have this idea and it has now developed into what we see
