That's a hard one. I imagine appointing some sort of mediator out respect and consideration for their culture. A male could appointed to relay all communications from the team members who refuse to work with a female MIT administrator. In the future I imagine it would be a good idea to avoid such problems in the future by investigating all future members cultural norms. This situation blows my mind.
