What Are Benjamin Franklin's Major Accomplishments

People everywhere have a story to tell. We have our own perspective on what’s important in our life. Benjamin Franklin is one of the most prominent figures in our history. In his Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin, this story tells about his life from his own point of view. A couple of things he mentions are his mistakes and the accomplishments he has established. For this essay, I’m going to discuss on what I think Franklin’s most important accomplishments are. There are quite the number of achievements he makes throughout his lifetime, but from his viewpoint those accomplishments can be essential or something trivial. First, the idea of a “library” was proposition by Franklin during one of his Junto meeting. For everyone’s convenience he thinks that it’s better to keep all their books into one place: as it will allow them to easily get hold of a book when needed, is available to all members, and various type of books all in one location. This first attempt of book gathering fails, but later he is able to spread attention to the creation of a subscription library and with many peoples help the concept of book gathering expand throughout the North America. Franklin must be thrive to have this accomplish as his love for books and his desire for people in the nation to expand their knowledge gain satisfaction on his accomplishment that he’s able to combine two of the things he desires and must have be very proud. Also, the fact that books are no longer only for privilege people, but available for everyone to use.
