To examine the provided selection above, I firstly will point out the instrumentation. At 6:10, I can hear a CADENZA, which is a point of time that other musicians stop playing, and a soloist comes to improvise by playing on an instrument by himself; in this case, there is a soloist playing on harpsichord, which is one of the common instrumentations for the Baroque period. This kind of instrumentation was widely used during the Baroque period rather than Classical or Romantic period; therefore, it is one of characteristics of the Baroque period that I can hear.
