What and Where is The Perkin’s Institute

This institute is located at 175 N Beacon St, Watertown, MA 02472. This institute is a school for the blind this institute had Annie Sullivan, and Helen Keller. These two “heroes” were both blind and one had her vision returned to her but the other, Helen her vision and being def lasted her whole life, but she learned to live with it and she learned how to communicate. The school has been up since 1829 and the institute is still doing well and taking students with disabilities. This school was also the first school to of taught children with disabilities.

This school was a school that children with disabilities went to to learn about math, and how to speak, and read.
