Technology over Each of the Generations
Technology is the greatest creation man has ever made, is it becoming a bad or good thing though? That's the question of the like past century. Technology has interchanged and advanced the way we live and has revolutionized us in the past. A lot of the older generations blame technology for a decline in kid's willingness to do things themselves and also be so caught up in it and for bad grades. Amy Goldwasser's Article "What's the matter with kids today?" Argues that the internet has positively affected kids and according to the older generation it's the reason in decline for kids' reading literature. She gives examples on how

It also has stupid things on their like social media; social media though can be good and bad depends on how it's used. For kids I don't think it's good for them besides the being able to communicate better because a lot of things can happen on social media. According to a research article on www.omicsonline.org called "Impact of social networking sites on the youth" the article states "People spend more than usual hours on social media and that these sites have held an addiction to the youth wherein they find it hard to concentrate on work." If you go into a classroom now days you will majority of the students on their phones on social media. But in kids like my defense, I know how to limit myself and use my phone for only school related things. Basically having phones is like having a mobile computer that can fit right into your pocket and it gives us the ability to find the right stuff for maybe research we are doing in a class, but also gives us the ability to look up videos on stuff we don't understand. I use my phone during my free time at school getting tutored in math because my school doesn't provide a tutor doing the school day so I use my phone for an educational purpose. I'm not the only kid who does this too because we are trying to start this thing at school where we get a group of us students to help the kids who aren't …show more content…
The thing is though is that everything isn't perfect, everything has negatives and it is always the negatives that are always outshining the positives because people want something perfect but that will never happen. Technology is an ever changing man made creation, it gets updated and changed on a daily basis making us have to adapt more and more. That's why if you accept change in your life and like how the articles say that children are the most willing people to change because they have grown up with technology making it the easiest for them to be used to this daily change. Technology a year ago is not the same it is today, being more advanced and leaning towards the more hands free type of future and making us have to do less and less. Which a person like me thinks " oh so cool" and older generation person probably is totally opposed to it being they grew up being hands on and using problem solving without technologies help. We have come too far to go back now too so you can either keep living not accepting the change and more advance life is becoming or you can accept it and develop and be more advance

Although I see concerns with this article, I can also see the impact this situation will have on our society over time. In just the last decade, we have seen technology grow, and shrink immensely. By shrink, I mean we can fit what used to be a 60 pound computer system into our pockets. With the decrease in size, the increase in popularity seems to only be growing.…
