“Slime moulds are a simple that consists of an accellular mass creeping jelly like protoplasm containing nuclei, or mass of amoeboid cells”. Slime moulds used to be considered as a type of fungi although they can move and there cells are made up of mostly different stuff. Slime moulds have traits like both fungi and animals. Slime moulds are made up of individual cells and is a form of aggregate mass. They are organisms in two types of taxonomic groups, the cellular slime moulds and the plasmodial slime moulds. Organisms in both groups of slime moulds are eukaryotic this meaning that their cells have nuclei. All the species in the slime mould cellular group are really small (like microscopic) during pretty much all stages of their life-cycle.
