Westside Hotel Case Study

On Tuesday, March 28, 2017, the Investigator arrived at the Westside Hotel in Culver City, CA and obtained insured owner Simran Doel's recorded statement regarding the alleged theft of equipment at a job site.
Mr. Doel was questioned about the spear which was released to continue with the job. He said the spear is not relating to this claim in question regarding to this current claim relating to E2D65984, as it relates to claim number E2D68072. He said the email referencing the spear was used at the worksite where this Investigator had conducted an inspection when he used the spear to retrieve equipment which had fallen into a hole during a dig, when the rig malfunctioned dropping the equipment into the hole. He said this was the only time he had used a spear and was not trying to reference in the email to CNA he had used a spear in relation to the claim under E2D65984.
Mr. Doel related that under claim E2D65984, continued to be alleged that burglaries came on to the unsecured site where he had left his drilling equipment while he was excavating a water well for a client. While the site not secured, the alleged suspects vandalized or broke their client’s waterline

Deol explained perused through the internet in search of each of the items. He said if the items were over $100.00 he developed an excel spreadsheet which he provided during this investigation and provided the internet link from that website which he provided his estimate on the worksheet. He said the spreadsheet will have the each of items listed, with a blue figure; when tabbed will open a window allowing the reader to see which website the items cost was estimated. Once the that figure is activated the blue figure will lead the reader to a third-party website where you can buy the piece of equipment for the same price which he has listed on the
