Western Suffolk Counseling Association conference was held in the Huntington Hilton Hotel on March 1st. The conference consisted of three workshops, such college transformation for student with disabilities regulation of emotions, and SAT and ACT preparation.
The first workshop dynamics of the transformation for student with disabilities consisted of four rows, and two sets of tables on each one. Thus, the tables could only accommodate two people at a time. However, space was not an issue, since the workshop was not filled completely. Therefore, several people preferred tables where no one was seated; I was one of them. I can only speak for myself, but the reason I choose an empty table was because I felt “more” protected.
