West Tiger High: A Short Story

Improved Essays
The bell rang and people started to fill the cafeteria of West Tiger High. “Hey Alex what are you getting or lunch today.” Said Tommy. “Since it’s the same today I think I will get a cheeseburger.” I said. When I got out of line I walked towards my table. I was minding my own business waiting for my friends to come until Travis came by. He dropped his napkin in front of me. “You dropped this Travis.” Travis just ignored me, but he looked a little shaky. When I looked at the napkin could see writing on it. It said “Get out now. While you still can.” After reading it I felt a little uneasy. That’s when my friends arrived.

In the cafeteria of P.S.279, I stood in shock as the liquid fluid ran from the top of my head seeping down my freshly ironed shirt and down to the sole's of my shoes. At that moment, I realized that I was standing in a puddle of my own chocolate milk. "Haha" she laughed, but I did not get the joke. I began to call for the teacher and she, barely four feet, grabbed my arm and said "If you snitch I'm gonna say you called me a bitch. " That sentence alone would be used to justify her actions.…
