“To over-generalize, west coast is chill, east coast is fast paced.” (Xue) From my experiences on both sides, West Coast wins in my opinion. Most people I interacted with demonstrated more enthusiasm and just seemed more laid-back. On the East Coast, especially New York City, people do not showcase happy, polite personalities, this emerges especially when driving. Overall when looking for a more relaxing feel look to the West Coast or a smaller city on the East Coast. Weather conditions can drastically change daily activities. From personal experience, the West Coast tends to stay at a fairly comfortable temperature, sometimes getting quite hot.
