However frustrating I find it that I must learn how to solve indirect proofs in geometry or known exact dates of American Revolutionary war dates in history class, I do believe that having the well-rounded education I am receiving will benefit me. Despite knowing this, it doesn't make proofs any less stressful. Struggling with math concepts has helped me in many ways. It has taught me that not everything will be easy and I will have to adapt. I know that I will need to be able to adapt in college to the new environment I will be in.
As previously mentioned, I am receiving a well rounded education. However, I will not need to know how to find the slope of a line or tell you the ratio of protons to neutrons in a mole of potassium in the future. The point of receiving well rounded education in high school is so you can have options when you attended college. You have at least a small bit of knowledge in a variety of subjects, allowing a student to decide what you would like to focus his or her college education
