We need you to ask questions when you need information, no matter how silly, to ensure that you’re working with clear directions. Do not spin your wheels in silence – reach out to your mentor and ask them for what you need.
3. Your Director/Manager will set a Meeting with You
We know that one of the most important factors that contributes to whether you’re feeling engaged or not is your relationship with their direct manager. In your first week, your direct supervisor will reach out to schedule a meeting. In that meeting, you’ll talk about your role, they will explain the agenda for your first week or two on the job, and how your work will contribute to Tamarack’s overall success. The goal of this meeting is to get you feeling inspired and excited to be working here, and clearly outline how you’ll be adding value to the team.
