Welcome to New Christ Temple New Members ‘class. New Christ Temple was found by Overseer Lorris Upshaw Sr. and co-founder Evangelist Nellie Upshaw. These two dedicated followers of God, believed in teaching and guiding new members as they walk with God. Our founder and co-founder taught and the Church of God in Christ teaches three separate and distinct works of grace that God performs in the life of believers: salvation, sanctification, and the baptism or indwelling of the Holy Ghost.
In keeping with this teaching we, Pastor Lorris Upshaw Jr. and First Lady Stephanie Upshaw of New Christ Temple (The Ministry of Another Chance) will teach these same three separate and distinct works. Again welcome to the new members’ class.
