Welcome Speech For Troop 6000 (64689)

Decent Essays
I, along with my co-leader Mia Grant are Girl Scout Leaders for Troop 64689 which is part of the Girl Scouts of Central and Southern New Jersey Council. A parent recently told us about Troop 6000, after seeing their story on the daytime show, The View. When we heard this story, we found it very touching and inspiring. Our multi-level troop (Daisy-Cadette) would love to partner and assist Troop 6000 in any way that we can. The girls in our troop would love to donate clothes or other needed supplies to Troop 6000. We would welcome the opportunity for the troops to meet and exchange clothes and potentially engage in a joint activity or meeting.

Please let us know if this is a possibility. We look forward to hearing from you.

His speech is blunt about what people will face in their life after education. That adult life is boring, repetitive, trivial, tiring. Yet despite being adult life being unsatisfactory, Wallace always says it will only be those things because of your perspective.…

I suffered through a period which left me lacking motivation and purpose in life. Friends and family told me a great deal of things I should do, but none of it appealed to me. Though I want to help people, I didn’t want to be a doctor; though history appeals to me, I didn’t think I would enjoy history in academia. Following a great deal of reflection and deliberation, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Among the lessons learned during my enlistment were intricacies of the professional responsibilities of a basic “boots on the ground” infantryman, a team leader of three other Marines, and subsequently a squad leader of twelve Marines.…

Some people celebrate Veteran's Day by making items and others may serve the community by picking up trash. Veteran's Day was made in 1938 by President Dwight D. Eisenhower so we have a whole day just to honor the veterans. People do different things to celebrate Veteran's Day. Some people make special items to send overseas, others like writing letters to them.…
