The first primary concern that was talked about in this article was about the safety and effectiveness of the programs. Many professional programs talked about if a supervised strength training program that follows the recommended guidelines and precautions is safe and effective for children (Dahab 2009). Now this might happen for some cases, but unfortunately not for all. Many programs in our country are not qualified to be teaching and learning children about the field of physical education. This is why a lot of parents are hesitant about sending there young child to a strength program in their area because of the many risks it has to offer. Well, first off, I was able to learn a lot of information on this topic and get a better idea on the subject. By learning of all this new knowledge, I think it’s appropriate for children to join a strength training program.
