Weekly writing portfolio

I chose these three pieces to demonstrate different genres. The three different pieces I wrote were poetry, an essay and a story. I am not very proud of these pieces, but like I said, I wanted to show different genres. Weekly writing, to me, was more of a chore than an enjoyed activity. Every week I dreaded it, and it wasn't carefully planned. Usually waiting until the last minute, I certainly did not plan ahead. I did, in fact, write for the full hour each time. The writing groups, to me, didn't seem very helpful. I already knew what was wrong with my essay, so I feel like the feedback wasn't necessary. I feel like it would have been helpful, if I didn't already know what
