I realized before that I need to eat healthier. At this period of time, I’m learning more than I expected in this class. Learning about the type of fat in foods, benefits of dietary fibers, and the affect of having a deficiency or excess of vitamins and minerals in the body are all very useful. Whenever I eat something, I now more conscious about how each food impacts my body and contributes to the recommended dietary intakes. The message I will take away from this class is eating in moderation is the key in having a healthy diet and you don’t have to completely avoid eating a certain type of food in order to lose weight.
