Weekly Assignment 6 - 5 S
I took the example of my work desk for applying the principle of 5 S. My work desk looked as follows before clean up and then I applied 5 S to it. The picture which is also taken before cleaned up and after I cleaned up the desk is shown as a subsequent picture on the second page.
Sort: I sorted the stuff on the basis of type and size and made a list of things that were similar in size and shape. This made me fissure out the exact place they can be placed on the desk without looking out of place and cluttered.
Set in order: I made the list of thinks in which order they are used. This made me keep the things according to their usage pattern and frequency. For example, I use the laptop more often than other things
