The focus of this week’s exercises will focus on the APA format which is the academic format for academic documents. Thinking about this process, I am reminded of what Paul said to the church at Corinth in First Corinthians 14:40 where he said “let all things be done decently and in order.” We as child of God must know we server a God of order and direction.…

Final Persuasive Speech Reflection Believe me when I say that my progress from then to now has come a long way. Initially after giving the persuasive speech, I felt that there has been little process in all of this time that I had spent trying to learn to communicate more effectively. Worst of all perhaps, I felt powerless to do anything to change this. This was my most practiced speech and it did not feel that way. Even the thought of having to go back and essentially relive those 7 minutes was not something I was particularly excited about.…

My first thoughts on trying to modify this behavior was that this was going to be a stress-free assignment that I was going to be able to accomplish with no problems. Going into the assignment and believing that I was going to only need to put little to no effort into it lead me to becoming quite surprised when I discovered that it was not as easy as I made it out to be. However, once it was actually time for me to begin to change my behavior it wasn’t as easy as I expected it to be. As the observation week commenced it came across as if I selected one of the most awful weeks to begin to observe my spending behavior.…
