I can still remember the weed eater's blades digging into my leg. It all started when I was told by my father to go and mow our front yard. I was wearing shorts that day, a decision I would soon regret. “The grass outside is growing far too high, go and weed eat it down some.” my father said, more or less. “Yes sir!” I replied, and quickly grabbed the weed eater and went outside. The grass outside was definitely overgrown, almost reaching heights of three feet in places. Initially, I was astonished with the sheer size of the plants. I regained myself and went to my work. I turned on the weed eater, and it started whirring, faster and faster. I led it to the weeds, which had grown into 'bushes' by now. The weed eater cut through them with
