N.p., n.d. Web. 16 Mar. 2016.) It 's only for one night; those three people have such a good time because parents spend a fortune on clothes, dinner, and hotels. While the other students do not realize until after graduation why their parents had morals on money and did not spoil them on that one night. They already have a start-up college fund while those other three teenagers that live it up for that one night are struggling to pay the first year in a university. While reading this article, "A group of seniors purchase a twenty-thousand dollar house for thirty-six hours with the parents help.” (Brown."$1,000 for the Prom Is Immoral." Orlando Sentinel, 21 Oct. 2005. Web. 19 Mar. 2016). Do not get me wrong I will be thankful if my parents did that for my prom. I will make sure that will be the best thirty-six hours of life. Knowing parents have that kind of money to be given their child for their last night as a high school senior; I am pretty sure they would be happier if the money were in their college fund when they graduated. Also, with twenty thousand dollars you can catch up on bills and buy items that are beneficial to the whole family and not focus on one certain individual. Morals they tend to be a lesson which is learning after making a decision on a particular topic. The moral that Principal Hoagland is tried to address with the parents and students is spending too much money not okay for the soul. Parents need to know when its prom it 's not about the amount devoted to the dress, the limousine, the beach house or the restaurant.
