Even one of Hollywood’s good looking and popular actor has flaws. One of them is Ashton Kutcher, a Hollywood heartthrob and is known for his acting skills. During an interview, he funnily shows off his webbed toes which made us believe that even Hollywood celebrities have flaws.

What is webbed toes?
A webbed toe is a physical condition that affects 1 out of 2500 infants that are born. Webbed toes are also known as syndactyly, a kind of physical deformity that usually affects the second and third toes. Syndactyly condition can be classified as simple or complex. Simple syndactyly is a condition which is present at birth and the toes are only joined by soft tissues while complex syndactyly is a condition that is a part of the

Webbed toes are visible at birth and while using a fetal ultrasound. At the first sign of syndactyly, the physician will refer you to a specialist that specializes in webbed toes so he can guide you to a more specific and detailed plan of treatment.

What is the possible treatment for webbed toes?
As early as possible, webbed toes can be treated to separate the joined toes.
Medical therapy. This is a surgical intervention in infants aging from 5 to 6 months.
Surgical therapy. A surgery is needed as soon as possible is there are more than two webbed toes involved.

How to prevent webbed toes?
It is said that prevention is better than cure but when it comes to webbed toes, sad to say, there is no known prevention for it. If your child is born with webbed toes, his doctor will check him immediately for signs of a more complex condition. An x-ray is used to see if his bones are joining or only soft
