Wearing School Hats

There are many different types of controversial arguments that people do not agree with. There is an argument that I would like to get to the bottom too. The problem is that there are schools that do not allow hats at school because they are so called “gang related.” I do not understand what makes hats supposedly gang related. Wearing a baseball hat or even a school hat is not allowed.

There was a time where hats did mean people were part of a specific gang or group. Which brings me to the time and now where gang violence has lowered in the world. hats are hats they should not be an object that considers you a gang member. students do not wear hats because they will be confiscated by security guards and other adults that work for the school. if it is so frowned upon for the students why let the people who try to keep us from wearing hats get to wear hats. this just shows a bad example to underclassmen because they assume that if they can wear it so can I. I have gotten in trouble for wearing hats many many times. every time I have gotten it taken away, the security officer has been wearing a hat. The main cause of students not being able to wear hats is because it is gang related, i have heard this from numerous different people that work from the school. If hats are gang related what makes it okay for the older people who work in the school able to still wear them even though they are frowned
